Andrea Dall’Olio


Born in Lecco on August 31, 1987, the Italian violinist has forged his musical career with passion and dedication. His artistic journey began at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where he earned his diploma at the age of 21, showcasing extraordinary musical skills. The violinist’s talent has shone through numerous solo performances in various young talent music festivals, contributing to the enrichment of the local music scene. His commitment and ability have led him to collaborate with prestigious orchestras, including the Orchestra Giovanile Aloisiana in Castiglione delle Stiviere and the 1813 Orchestra in Como, delivering thrilling performances in the provinces of Mantua, Brescia, and Verona.

His experience expanded further through collaboration at the Accademia della Scala in Milan, where he shared the stage with renowned conductors such as Yuri Temirkanov, Daniele Gatti, and Gianandrea Noseda, performing in Italy’s most prestigious theaters, including La Fenice in Venice, the Grande in Brescia, and the celebrated La Scala in Milan. The violinist has demonstrated his versatility through collaborations with internationally acclaimed jazz musicians, including Paolo Tomelleri, Emilio Soana, Tony Arco, Sandro Cerino, and the Crescendo Big Band.


His repertoire spans masterfully across various musical genres, embracing classical, blues, jazz, and folk. Among his notable projects are collaborations with bands like I Croccanti and Gli Sgalambri, of which he is a founder.

Since 2016, the violinist has been a member of Domo Emigrantes, an ensemble with which he has taken his art beyond borders, performing in several countries including Switzerland, France, Moldova, Russia, Lithuania, Turkey, Croatia, Spain, the USA (California, Florida, Nevada), the Netherlands, and Belgium. His passion for music has further flourished through his participation in the Antonio Vivaldi Orchestra since 2017 and as a violinist in the versatile Matrix Quartet since 2018, engaging in intense event activities. The violinist has also shared the stage with successful Italian artists such as Emma Marrone, Alessandra Amoroso, Dardust, and Marco Mengoni. In 2021, he contributed to the success of the song “Ovunque sarai” performed by Irama at Sanremo, recording the strings.

In addition to his solo career, the violinist continues to enthusiastically pursue his project Domo Emigrantes, which has initiated a significant collaboration with renowned American singer Natalie Merchant for a special project by the Prada Foundation dedicated to children. He also maintains a close partnership with the talented singer Leslie Abbadini, thus expanding his impact in the music world with authenticity and creativity.
